If the app is as good as the www.lingq.com website, it is worth downloading. The website allows you to read at your own level and collect new vocabulary as you go. I believe there are free features as well as some they charge for. That's the way it was the last time I checked.

I just heard that in lingq.com, you can use it for free until you get one hundred new vocabulary words. If you want more, I think it's ten dollars a month.

I think the TED story is a good app. for studying English through the phone
